Saidmade is a laboratory where creativity and innovation melt together, availing of the best web 0.2 experts and keeping in touch with those communities that stand out because of design and development. We care above all about the core of Saidmade: our project is the result of the meeting of three heterogeneous minds, sharing the same values and ambitions.
Nicola Ballotta (CEO, system/security evangelist, founder)
In 1990 a close friend of my parents decided to get rid of his Commodore 64, which fortunately fell into my hands; so from the age of ten years old, while the other children were playing with Lego (of which I didn’t disdain the Technics version), I used to spend my days waiting for cartridges to load their programs, the ones that made history! Everything changed when my parents decided to present me –having no idea about what it was- a strange box called “modem” Bbs, internet access (“borrowed” by the school I attended !), web: an escalation that has slowly satisfied my wish of digital knowledge, making my IT security and system management know how grow deep and solid. Saidmade is a ten lasting years dream, became true thanks to visionary minds, like mine.
Matteo Fantuzzi (Sales coordinator, copywriter, co-founder)
Tortuous ups and downs and unexpected connections made me pass on disparate experiences: from a nipped in the bud journalistic career to streams of words on specialized fashion and economy magazines; from educational projects for street children, to sales coordinator for an important phone company; from literature studies (during the spare time) to a pluriannual effort in social services, to a daily contact with autistic people and psychiatric patients. Communicating, listening, understanding and realizing: Saidmade is the converging point of all my routes and, above all, the beginning of a non conventional project in which common ideals and ambitions daily converge.
Giovambattista Fazioli (CTO, co-founder, evangelist developer)
At the age of 13 years old I could choice between a stop-motion machine for the creation of self made cartoons and a Commodore 64! After thinking a lot, I realized that maybe one day cartoons would have been created using such machines, called “personal computer”. So I choose the PC and had the fortune to know a world, the informatics one, full of surprises and satisfactions, that allowed me to make much more than “self made cartoons”. From the Basic and 6502 Assembly programming, passing through 680×0 Motorola processors, C on Unix, Visual Studio, Javascript, PHP and Actionscript, here I am as the responsible of Research and Software Development department, moved by curiosity, just like those days!
Greta Scaglioni (GA, guardian angel)
Calling her secretary would be reductive: Greta, as her name (which means daisy) reminds us, is like a flower that never withers.
Solar, energetic, positive, in a very short time she became a basic part of our team; she coordinates in an impeccable way the work flow, cares about the social networking and the organization of the events connected to our company and regularly writes on our blogs.
During her free time, Greta conducts theater laboratories; she loves music and poetry, traveling and cooking.
Her distinguishing marks? Enthusiasm and curiosity. Saidmade? Can’t go without her!
